Problem
LaRue Architects is a nationally recognized architecture firm located in Austin, TX. In August 2023, they celebrated their 35th anniversary. In the wake of this significant milestone, the team knew it was time for a refresh of their visual identity. For the next era, LaRue wanted to embrace the abundant experience, credibility, and skill they accrued over the past 35 years. It was important that the new visual identity represent a combination of sophistication and elegance.
Solution
LaRue’s new logo and website convey a high-end, mature feel. The logo is a bold yet simple expression of LaRue’s expertise and modern aesthetic. The angular style of the letters convey a sophisticated look as well as giving a nod to the sleek style of LaRue’s homes.
The new website homepage expands on the aesthetic of the logo. Unlike their old homepage, LaRue’s new homepage shares the company’s unique story and characteristics. The site presents this information in a way that is clean, yet intentional, using typography, shape and imagery to create unique layouts.
